Town of Eden is seeking a Part-time Town Prosecutor. Must be licensed to practice law in New York State.   Starting annual salary is $12,650.  Please send a resume and cover letter to admin@edenny.gov or mail/ drop off to Eden Town Hall, Attention Supervisor, 2795 East Church Street, Eden, NY 14057 by September 30, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in New York state, minimum 5 years legal experience

 Job Description:

Holds non-jury trials on vehicle and traffic matters as well as trials on violations of the Penal Law and Town Ordinances

Negotiates pleas in vehicle and traffic and other penal law matters

Works with Town departments

Able to email correspondences during Town business offices when necessary

Eden Town Court is held usually on Tuesday evenings, twice a month
